The UNITESTER-HP100 is a cartridge Tester for Hewlett Packard Cartridges. It tests all HP-14/25/26/29/49 Cartridges. This device tests the electrical connections on the copper circuitry strip BEFORE you refill the cartridge. This will save you ink, the time and the agony of refilling a cartridge just to find out that the connections are bad and the cartridge wont work. A light turns green and a buzzer goes off if the cartridge is electrically sound and OK. It works off of a 9 volt battery and can be replaced after 2,000 tests. The Lights on the testing equipment will not light if the cartridge has a series of connections which are bad. Have a spare battery to be sure it is not dead.
If 45 of the 54 electrical connections are bad the lights will not illuminate, this will tell you the cartridge is no longer good.
